- Green Line: Through hike & bike trail; single-track.
- Blue Line: Side trail or alternate route; single-track usually.
- Yellow Line: Conservancy Road not open to motorized vehicles (maintained, graded.)
- Yellow-Green Line: Conservancy Road (not graded or maintained), double-track trail.
- Red Line: Part of trail not recommended for bikes due to deep sand or thorns.
- White Line: Pedestrian trail only; no bikes or horses.
- Dark Blue Line: Paved trail, no motorized vehicles (includes Paseo del Bosque Recreation Trail.)
